Sorry, You're Sick!!!
Here is a list of illnesses we do NOT want to share in the playroom:
- A fever within the previous 24 hours.
- Vomiting/Diarrhea within the previous 24 hours.
- Childhood Disease: Chicken Pox. This is contagious two
days prior to breaking out AND until ALL blisters have crusted over.
- Runny nose with any colored discharge.
- Sore throat.
- Unexplained rash.
- Skin Infection: Impetigo. Skin to skin contact is highly
contagious. If it is visible, the child should not attend playroom until skin
is clear.
- Eye Infections: Pink Eye. The child is contagious until
they have received eye drops for 24 hours.
- Head Lice. Remain at home until the child is free of all
nits.
If a child should become ill during adult discussion, the parent will be notified
immediately and will be asked to remove the child from the playroom.
